Bogdan Cretu is a Solicitor at Atkins & Palmer. Bogdan advises and assists clients in relation to mental health and mental capacity law.

Before starting his career in law, Bogdan practised as a doctor and specialised in Emergency Medicine. He worked as a doctor in several Accident & Emergency departments, including in a leading hospital in London. Through this work Bogdan’s interest grew in how the law applied to individuals, especially those who lack capacity to make decisions about medical treatment. Bogdan decided to move into a career in law and aims to bring his compassionate and caring nature to his work with clients.

Bogdan is experienced in working with individuals with mental health conditions and other vulnerable people. Through his work as a doctor and now in law, he has developed an excellent attention to detail and he excels at explaining difficult concepts to clients in a simple and straightforward way.

Bogdan is also fluent in Romanian.
